Tour guide by day stand up comic by night, David Whitney has a full calendar. Since appearing at the Hackney Empire and Comedy Café New act finals in 2007 he has been performing all over the UK. With regular appearances at The Comedy Store, Jongleurs and The Fymfyg Bar (perversely Lee Hurst’s Backyard Comedy Club) David is quickly becoming a top act on the circuit.
Please do not worry that his guiding will be nothing but bordey gags, although he has plenty (if that’s what your after) he is also very well informed in the history of London, having been an official guide at the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Dover Castle. Although suffice to say we will have gotten very lost if he starts to include Dove Castle.
You'll catch Dave heading up the motorway to his next gig, you'll see him on stage all around the country.
